On the last day me and Kadri decided not to go to Suomenlinna, instead of that we stayed longer in the lodging place. While there, we said goodbye to bunch of participants, including Giorgos. Yesterday I washed my ‘Guide to a Better Life’ T-shirt in the washing machine. And the good news is that the colors are still on the shirt just like before. Tonight, a ferry carried 9 Estonian organizers from Helsinki to Tallinn, officially ending the summer university adventure for us. It’s a bit past midnight and I am sitting in my kitchen, wondering why I’m not partying with you guys and why on earth I get to sleep in a bed.
Yeeeah, waking up tomorrow and not having you guys around is going to be weird.

Living the AEGEE life at 6.32 am
Greetings from the awesome cottage! Life is hard. Eating, sleeping, swimming and drinking. That is the life we know now. It is truly a good life.Can we stay like this forever PLZZZ???
Besides the usual cottage life we have gotten to know each other very well. We found out that Estonians are the best partysipants and Finnish are the most snoring. Also one participant tried to cure a throat ache...
Change of scenery
TSU has reached Finland! It is 1:05am, we are staying in Märkiö cottage and most of us are in the sauna or dipping into the cooling but rather hot lake. Air temperature is even higher here than in Estonia, so despite the hope of meeting some cooler air masses, we continue to boil. Previous air guitar show performances demonstrated the witty and diverse talent of our awesome participants, so now...

The Morning After.
After the bus took you guys away, we returned to the gym to pack our stuff and do some cleaning up. We also sat down with the Tartu crew for a feedback session and, of course, gossip! :D
Tonight, we’re going to a pub together to see Spain vs Germany. I have no clue whose side I should be on and if I will manage to stay awake for the whole match…

Hot, hot, hot!
It’s unbelievaby hot in Tartu, and probably all due to the hot participants, no?! ;) Some have admitted they expected the weather to be colder, but hey - Estonia knows what summer is really about, and how the weather tolerance limits of the TSUers should be tested!
Yesterday, we went hiking in Taevaskoja, and to our great surprise, we were not subjected to the massive attack of mosquitoes....

Great great time in Tartu
So today I took the 6AM bus from Tartu to Tallinn to be at the office at 10. I have lost my voice(for some reason), my legs hurt, I haven’t been sleeping tonight and i have to work at an office where there is over 30 degrees constantly, yet I am very happy that I was in Tartu for the weekend and had the chance to meet all our great participants. This was so worth the hell I will be going...

It has begun!
All the participants are not here yet but the summer university has finally started. Yesterday, we had some introductions, speeches and so on and after this we went to a pub called Zum Zum to watch football. To be honest, football is changing our program! We have to rearrange things, so the ones who are interested can see the game. The ones who weren’t watching the game were busy playing...

What's up with the squirrels?

After several insinuations to squirrels, I guess I owe you guys an explanation.
You see, way back when AEGEE-Tartu was founded nearly 16 years ago, our founding members came to the first meeting and discovered that they all had had the same dream the night before. It was about four fluffy-tailed, walnut-loving rodents carrying Europe on their backs.
And thus, the myth of the squirrel...

Travel tips
One on one How to pack your bag:
Make up your mind about what to do you want to take
If you take any liquids (like something for European Night or for showering) put them into a plastic bag and then pack nicely between your (just in case not the newest) T-shirts.
If you have done your packing and then figure out that some things are still out of the suitcase or the suitcase doesn’t close...

As our event is getting closer and closer probably most of you have started to pack their bags and suitcases, yesterday one of the participants was clearly very concerned about what kind of clothes to bring and what kind of bag or suitcase should be taken.
From my own experience I’d advise you to take the suitcase what comes on wheels, we do have roads here :D and it’s much easier...
